Why we started SweetApps
Small businesses compete with big brands that have polished apps. Agencies cost too much; templates all look the same.
Meanwhile, campuses are full of talented developers who want real projects. SweetApps brings them together, with the oversight to do it right.
Our take on AI
Yes, we use AI.
Quick confession: most of this website was built with AI. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
But AI didn't decide what to build. It didn't notice the screen that looked fine and wasn't, or know which corner you can't cut when Apple reviews your app. We did.
Between us we've built websites and mobile apps hundreds of times. We pay for the serious tools, hundreds of dollars a month of them, and we know how to get the most out of every one. We also write Swift, HTML, Python and Java ourselves. So when the AI gets something wrong (it does), we catch it and fix it.
AI can't do everything, even when we want it to. Knowing when to trust it and when to take the wheel took years of learning. That part is us.
